Make your message glow in the dark with backlit graphics

Nothing beats backlit graphics for stunning full colour images on signs or displays, especially at nightime. Graphics that are lit from behind have more depth of colour and demand attention! The vibrant colours of backlit graphics offer exciting possibilities and are widely used in both indoor and outdoor signage, for hotel lobby or retail displays, in visitor centres, museums, hospitals, airports and in trade show displays.

Unlike traditional posters, backlit graphics are printed on a transparent or semi-transparent medium or Duratrans film which allows the backlit poster to “glow” when mounted in a light box. The maximum width is normally restricted to 48″ full bleed but there are no restrictions on length.

UV stable inks are commonly used to print backlit graphics for greater resistance to fading. The printed film is normally placed between two sheets of Plexiglas in a light box. Fully protected backlit graphics are extremely durable and can last up to five years indoors and two years outdoors. Backlit posters can also be covered with crystal laminate for use on trade show backlit frames that often come with the shell scheme of exhibition stands. This material has a total thickness of 21mm and can be easily stuck to the frames with Velcro.
