Easy picture mounting on foam board

Many people have never heard of foam board, though it is very likely that they would have come across it at some point. It is made of a type of CFC free polystyrene placed between two sheets of acid free paper or plastic so that the foam forms the middle layer of the “sandwich”.

Foam board is a rigid board which comes in three colours (black, grey and white) and a variety of sizes and thicknesses. Because foam board is very lightweight as well as strong, it is often used for framing large graphic images or posters since it adds very little extra weight. Foam board has an exceptional ability to accept ink jet as well as full colour printing. Image printing on foam board  is widely used for all kinds of signage, menu boards and graphic posters.
